Today we bring you the insanely talented and soulful Anderson .Paak - whose teeth alone will glow brighter than all the glitter-laced fannies of LA’s most beautiful and Insta-famous celebrities.
Fresh off receiving a Grammy for “Bubblin.”, the Southern California native is set to embark on a 21-city “Best Teef In The Game Tour”. The tour announcement comes on the heels of .Paak’s 4th studio album Ventura, set to drop April 12. And to top it all off, the entire album was executively produced by the iconic rapper and producer Dr. Dre.
“Make It Better” is a modern soul instant classic. It’s the 2nd single released off .Paak’s new album and here AP preaches about the highs and lows of love while the smooth vocals of living legend Smokey Robinson provide some warm, groovy and uplifting harmonies. It’s quite tricky to decipher which vocal is Anderson and which is Smokey. Is Anderson .Paak the new Smokey Robinson!?
The song’s recent music video shows .Paak skipping down the street, flowers in hand while alternating between scenes of him and his girl fighting and then embracing each other. All relationships are turbulent but the key to making the love last is to always strive to “make it better”.
With every album, it seems as all .Paak does is get better. With announced feature guest appearances from André 3000, Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy, Nate Dogg and Lalah Hathaway, we cannot wait for the rest of this one to drop.
