Am 2. Mai hielt die renommierte Wissenschaftlerin Prof. Dr. Anne Baillot von Scientist Rebellion einen Vortrag über die gesellschaftliche Rolle der Universität in Zeiten der Klimakrise. Die Veranstaltung fand in Zusammenarbeit mit End Fossil Paderborn und Students for Future Paderborn statt.
Baillot hat zu universitärem Engagement im 19. Jhdt gearbeitet und auch zu Kulturerbe im Kontext von Digitalisierung und u.a. der Klimakrise. Seit 2017 ist Sie Professorin für Germanistik mit dem Fokus Digital Humanities und Direktorin des Instituts für Germanistik an der Universität in Le Mans.

The Social Role of the University in Times of Climate Crisis
On May 2nd, the renowned scientist Prof. Dr. Anne Baillot of Scientist Rebellion gave a lecture on the social role of the university in times of climate crisis. The event was organized in cooperation with End Fossil Paderborn and Students for Future Paderborn.
Baillot has worked on university engagement in the 19th century, as well as on cultural heritage in the context of digitization and the climate crisis, among other topics. Since 2017, she has been Professor of German Studies with a focus on Digital Humanities and Director of the Institute of German Studies at the University of Le Mans.
