Anterior a octubre de 2023, el gobierno de Panamá, secuestrado por la industria minera, promovía el plan "País Minero" con una campaña mediática sin precedentes ante el nombre de la transición energética del mundo. Conversaremos con dos dirigentes del movimiento popular organizado para explorar las lecciones de un país, cuya población salió masivamente a las calles durante más de un mes, para dejar claro que Panamá vale más sin minería.
Prior to October 2023, the government of Panama, hijacked by the mining industry, promoted the "Mining Country" plan with an unprecedented media campaign in the name of the world's energy transition. We will talk to two leaders of the organised popular movement to explore the lessons of a country whose people took to the streets en masse for more than a month to make it clear that Panama is worth more without mining.
