This video shows various problems and solutions which occurred during the development of the Constraint Builder addon as part of the INACHUS research project.

The INACHUS project is a European wide research project starting in 2015, that examines measures to improve first response after building collapse in catastrophic events like earthquakes, storms, explosions etc.

$Full Dynamic Fracture in Blender Prototype This video shows for the first time a complete system for dynamic shattering and fracturing simulation in Blender. It uses the crack generation approach I revealed in my most recent videos about arbitrary deformed cell fracture. Dynamic means that no precalculation whatsoever like prefracturing or any other kind of preprocessing of the geometry is being done or required. $Stanford Bunny tortured in Blender (Arbitrary Deformed Cell Fracture 2) This is a second video about the new fracture method w.i.p. showing off the topology of the generated shard geometry. All objects shown in this video are solid and watertight, they do not include any non-manifold geometry, and there are also no air bubbles as the shards fit together perfectly. Good to go for rigid body simulation. However, to work efficiently together with rigid body simulation this requires also some improved shape type alongside the classical Convex Hull. Hierarchical Approximate Convex Decomposition (HACD) by Khaled Mamou seems as the way to go.
