This is a second video about the new fracture method w.i.p. showing off the topology of the generated shard geometry.

All objects shown in this video are solid and watertight, they do not include any non-manifold geometry, and there are also no air bubbles as the shards fit together perfectly. Good to go for rigid body simulation.

However, to work efficiently together with rigid body simulation this requires also some improved shape type alongside the classical Convex Hull. Hierarchical Approximate Convex Decomposition (HACD) by Khaled Mamou seems as the way to go.
