Here is how to unlock, build, and use the Ancient Material Synthesizer in Palworld 1.0.
The Ancient Material Synthesizer is an endgame powered machine unlocked at Level 78. It allows you to select from a large list of mineable materials and generate a resource node directly inside your base for a Pal to harvest.
This includes extremely valuable resources such as Chromite, Coralum Ore, Hexolite Quartz, Sulfur, Coal, Pure Quartz, Paloxite Ore, Soralite Ore, and other supported mining materials.
Instead of constructing a separate mining pit for every individual resource, you can place one compact Ancient Material Synthesizer and switch its selected material whenever your base needs something different.
After building the machine, interact with it and choose the resource you want to produce. The Synthesizer will create a mineable node for that material.
You must assign a Pal with at least Level 6 Mining before the ore node can be harvested. Lower-level Mining Pals will not be able to operate it.
Only one resource can be active inside each Ancient Material Synthesizer at a time. This saves a massive amount of base space, but it also means you cannot simultaneously farm several different ores from a single machine.
When you need another material, interact with the machine and select a different resource. Changing the selected material is free and only takes a moment for the replacement node to appear.
Players who want several materials produced simultaneously will need to construct multiple Ancient Material Synthesizers and assign a qualifying Mining Pal to each one.
The machine also supports selected wood resources, but these require a Pal with Level 6 Lumbering instead of Mining.
