Here is where to find and capture Neptilius in Palworld 1.0.
Neptilius is a Legendary Water Pal resembling an enormous whale covered in flowing tentacles, glowing gems, and a golden crown. Unlike most overworld bosses, Neptilius waits inside its own sealed boss dungeon on the Isle of the Glacial Core.
The Isle of the Glacial Core is the small frozen island located off the northwestern side of the large desert region, between the desert and the enormous frozen mountain island.
The island’s fast-travel statue is located at approximately:
139, 637
The Neptilius boss dungeon is only a short distance away at approximately:

In this step-by-step guide, I show the island’s exact location on the full Palworld map, provide the fast-travel coordinates, lead you to the dungeon entrance, and walk you through the process of fighting and capturing Neptilius.
Neptilius appears as the Level 60 Alpha boss titled Legend of the Seas.
Because Neptilius is a Water-element Pal, Electric attacks are the best elemental option for weakening it. Bring powerful Electric Pals, strong armor, healing supplies, a Ring of Mercy, and plenty of high-tier Pal Spheres before entering the arena.
Be careful during the final part of the fight. Neptilius uses extremely powerful Water attacks with large areas of effect, and uncontrolled Electric damage can accidentally defeat it before you complete the capture.
