Here is one of the easiest and most convenient places to find Hardwood in Palworld 1.0.
Hardwood is gathered from sturdy trees growing in areas with extreme climates. This means you can find the correct trees around volcanic regions, the large desert, and the frozen mountains.
The location shown in this guide is on the lower shoreline of the large volcanic island, near the Foot of the Volcano fast-travel statue.
The approximate coordinates are:
-359, -494
Once you teleport to the Foot of the Volcano, you barely need to travel anywhere. Several Hardwood trees can be found growing around the nearby shoreline and volcanic terrain.
The main challenge is recognizing the correct trees.
Hardwood trees in this area look:
• Shriveled and scraggly
• Dry and partially stripped of leaves
• Almost burned or heat-damaged
• Pale or brown rather than completely charred
• Considerably rougher than normal forest trees
Do not look for completely blackened or glowing trees. The ones you need look more like they have been slowly dried out by the volcanic heat.
Equip a suitable axe and chop these trees normally. Instead of receiving only regular Wood, you will collect Hardwood that can be used for advanced crafting, high-quality wooden materials, equipment, and later building recipes.
