President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Cai Qi, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
In Tianjin, China, where he is attending the 25th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), President Erdogan continues his contacts on the sidelines of the summit.
At the Tianjin Guesthouse, President Erdogan held a working lunch with Cai Qi, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
In his remarks during the meeting, Erdogan said that they were in Tianjin with a large delegation.
Recalling his meeting yesterday with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Erdogan stated:
“In our meeting yesterday, we emphasized to President Xi our determination to further develop cooperation with your country in every field. We also wish to strengthen this cooperation in platforms such as the United Nations, G20, and BRICS. We expect your continued support for advancing our relations with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.”
