Always welcome to see Marty, who is probably my toughest 2P opponent after jbode!

This might give the least advantage for building first out of any USA map config, as the Omaha-St. Louis response is quite strong for such a cheap jump. My need to work turn order to my advantage meant that Marty ended up winning the builds anyway, though. The next major decision after that was 09 vs. 13; 13 is not great with 08, so i opted to pass and take 09 after driving up 13 to a decent price for Marty. Maybe should've bought 07 instead of 15 on the next turn, but think it worked out OK given how much longer it took for 20 to come out.

Speaking of 20, was surprised Marty bid it that high. 23 is a much better plant in 2P than in any other type of game except maybe 6P, and uranium was rather cheap at that point.

More weirdness came after i moved the market and put 25 up for bid. Marty actually bid me on it when he already had the 20, so i just gave it to him! Having 20 & 25 together can actually be powerful if nobody else has a long-term coal plant, but i had 15 as a little thorn in his side. Coal was already expensive too, so that was an easy call for me. There were many potential good drops in the deck for me, and 27 fit the bill nicely.

26 rewarded me nicely for my patience re: capacity, as Marty was forced to give that up to me for only around $35. That's a huge discount for that plant at that point!

Made a slight mistake as we got to Step 3: storing extra coal on the 15. That forced me to replace the 23 instead of the 15, when that plant made great money. Was sorta justified on the following turn when i landed the 46 at cost, but still think it cost me overall. i was expecting to have to buy 31, but Marty took it to replace the 20.

Marty was able to buy the 50 at cost since i needed the 46 instead, so that made great cash for him...but that wasn't quite enough in the end. A rather close win for me, which shows how important building is since i had more efficient plants for most of the game!
