A single battle team and nothing else just won’t do—I needed, at minimum, a double battle team as well, and two weeks after the Lokix Team was completed, so was the Froslass Team. This, of course, predates Mega Froslass by decades, and most certainly wouldn’t have Snow Warning.
This is the only team for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that underwent a change in team members: Hyacinth (Florges) was replaced with Keyser (Klefki) and later moved to the Oinkologne Team. This is because once more regulations turned up and Legendary and Paradox Pokémon were allowed, I was seeing problems with my Pokémon getting outsped by those that Bucky (Sawsbuck) could not handle on his own (namely Chien-Pao and Flutter Mane), and I felt this team needed a Trick Room user. Keyser is here mainly to have a Trick Room user, and as you might have seen, Trick Room has come into play a bunch since, especially since Miraidon, Koraidon, and Calyrex Shadow Rider became allowed later on.
Though Elsa (Froslass) can use Frost Breath to trigger Angus’s (Tauros) Anger Point, this is not a central strategy to the team, and I feel I am better off not having one core strategy. I rarely use it anyway.

The construction of this team went by much more smoothly than that of the Lokix Team, both because I had more resources and because I was getting the hang of making a team in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. I was able to utilize Mints, though I still generally preferred to breed the Natures onto them. (In Pokémon Champions, you can outright change a Nature.) This time, there were more Pokémon with restrictions in obtaining them, and to save some trouble, I gave them Mints instead. (Dragalge is pretty straightforward, but I had a Modest Mint I had just obtained in-game, so I might as well.)
Because Klefki was not originally a part of this team, it was not built with Trick Room in mind, though Dragalge is there ready for if the opponent used Trick Room. Hence, you have moves like Flame Charge and Tailwind. It turns using this team into something of a balancing act, to make sure your Speed-boosting effects don’t get in the way of Trick Room or vice versa.
Raging Bull’s screen-removal effects were not as useful as I had originally anticipated; screens tend to be used more in single battles instead, unlike in Sword and Shield where they seemed to be used about evenly. I’m not sure what the reason behind it is. It does come in handy during those times it DOES work though, like if they open with Alolan Ninetales and Tauros gets to knock down an Aurora Veil.
With both a single battle team and a double battle team in place, I felt like I could slow down now, and my third team, the Jumpluff Team would be completed a few months later.
