This is a spinoff of the deck I made to fulfill the requirements of the Solo mode missions in which I must win against the AI using a deck with at least 12 cards from the Paldean Wonders set. Having that many cards in a deck from that set is a marked disadvantage, so I modified it a bit to work more efficiently. I don’t produce many Lightning type decks in TCG Pocket (nor TCG Live, for that matter), so I will likely save this for Solo missions pertaining to using Lightning Pokémon too.

The idea here is simple: get Pawmot out with bonus damage from playing the Nemona Supporter card, which increases Pawmot’s attack damage by 80 if up against a Pokémon ex. Though the one from Shining Revery is nice (and gets a full art card), it can only deal 70 damage, plus another 20 through Counterattack leaving 90 damage in all, the Paldean Wonders Pawmot can deal 100 damage in one swoop.
Ideally, you want to begin with Raikou ex, who gets an extra card draw at the end of each turn. This speeds up the deck moreso than if I just threw Pichu in there, and the deck is pretty Energy efficient anyway. The card draw also helps me find Nemona promptly (not in this match though), Electric Generators to get going sooner (though unlike the regular TCG’s Electric Generator, it needs a coin flip), and any other cards needed to get Pawmot up and running—as a Stage 2, it would be slow and inconsistent otherwise. I mean, it’s still slow and inconsistent, but less so with Legendary Pulse going. Raikou ex’s Voltaic Bullet attack also does a bit of damage to the Bench, handy for picking a target to pull up with Cyrus. Its damage to the opponent’s Active Pokémon is far lower than its brethren though.
With a Nemona boost, Pawmot’s Thunder Blast reaches 180, enough to KO most non-Mega Pokémon ex and some Mega ones too. Any Pokémon still standing after that is likely to fall to another Thunder Blast. An exception turns up here, a Metal Pokémon ex with a Metal Core Barrier. Might as well use Nemona over Guzma to pry that Tool off.
This deck has more trouble against opposing non-ex attackers due to Nemona having no effect on them. It also has trouble against decks that can deal 140 or more damage due to being able to one-hit KO everything in this deck, especially if they can work with little Energy.
You can also see that I was up against Gholdengo ex again, though this time, they were able to use Spending Rush to ravage my entire side of the board. Decks like these make me consider Protective Poncho, but such decks aren’t common enough yet for me to actually use it.
Her purpose is so different between the Pokémon card games…in the regular one, she has a simple effect of drawing 3 cards. This is one of the least useful effects among Supporters there.
