To be honest, I didn't have a lot of trouble with Pluto and Earth. Easily the scariest part is the first turn, because Pluto can one-shot someone with his first attack. But otherwise, after emotions are properly set up, the fight becomes manageable.
The other potentially scary part is Pluto's ultimate attack. The best way to avoid it is to take Pluto out first, but there's still enough firepower where that can be done.
This battle is the only one in One Day Left with a very unique situation: Omori eventually becomes miserable, meaning he can often lose his turn if I'm not careful. It doesn't impair a run though, it just means I have to be a bit more mindful of his juice.
Equipment:
Omori: Rusty Knife, Gladiolus Hairband
Aubrey: Cool Noodle, Rose Hairclip
Kel: Coconut, Cactus Hairclip
Hero: Blender, Flower Crown
