I stumbled across this interesting mod earlier today. You can fight a version of yourselves that's designed for nuking. They can even use coffee, which doesn't seem fair in an itemless run. But it's still doable.
The strategy's actually somewhat consistent. The first four turns are dedicated to killing Kel before his scripted Run 'N' Gun on turn 4. I make him enraged, which even gives plenty of room for attack/speed debuffs and Snack Time instead of more damaging moves. After that, I have to pray that Omori misses all his shots on Vertigo, currently a shot from Vertigo will kill a party member or trigger plot armor.
The battle afterwards still isn't easy. Omori still has a very powerful AOE damage/debuff move, Aub can do consistent damage and has an instakill nuke, and Hero can heal by a lot. However, I abuse higher emotions to take Hero and Omori out, and with a bit of patience both go down.
Equipment:
Omori: Red Knife, Gladiolus Hairband
Aubrey: Baseball Bat, Rose Hairclip
Kel: Basketball, Cough Mask
Hero: LOL Sword, Flower Crown
