Experiment #8: Radiometer
A plasma globe and a radiometer, how could that idea not be cool? Watch and find out. I thought it'd turn the propellers but it didn't do jack. This episode is a perfect representation of why I all but ended the series back in May. I might do one or two more episodes, but at this point you can consider the plasma globe series all but over. I did all I could to get the radiometer propellers to turn, and I had to do it in dim light so that it wouldn't be the sunlight or light from the lamp spinning them. Turns out there's very little that you can do with a plasma ball beyond just a few select but cool experiments.
This series was meant to be an expansion outside of microwaving but it turned out to be something with only a limited assortment of ideas that could be turned into something interesting or useful. If you REALLY want me to continue this, let me know, but I've seen very little demand for a continuation of the series, and I see why.
