This is a fantastic place to ride and has only been re opened recently. It is about a mile long and has a good variety of surfaces and conditions, and at the highest point, has the first view of Canterbury Cathedral that the Pilgrims would see after the long trek from Winchester. The trail splits at the end and can go either right at the junction, which is still AE36, or turn left which becomes AE25 and has a nice slippery and stony decsent to the main road A252.
