This is a great lane with a loose stony surface at the bottom with ruts in the middle and nice off camber sides, more of a hill climb than a green lane. Starting from the bottom is pretty steep and you need to start right or you wont fully get in the rhythm, and will stumble for the first hundred meters or so. The last time I rode here was on a more modern bike, and I just bashed my way up without fluffing it up too much, but this time I never got into the rhythm and made a bit of a hash of it, but it was still loads of fun.
