I decided to give the bike a top end service before I head up to Lincolnshire in a few days time. Mainly I wanted to sort the weepy base gasket, but I was also curious to see how the piston was doing after about 5 or 6 thousand miles. I'm generally happy enough with everything, and took the opportunity to repaint the cylinder while I was at it.
