In this challenge, all I can use is the control stick and the A-button. This means no whistling, no switching captains, no disbanding, no napsack, no sprays, no C-stick, no camera, and no pausing.

Here it is! This challenge starts off with a bang, since it's not obvious that day 1 is even possible to do with just the A button. I have recently shown that day 1 can be beaten without whistling here: youtube.com/watch?v=Khl83qWRzls
However, I had to switch captains to finish the day. Now, I can't press Y to switch to Louie!
Thus, the only way to end the day (realistically) is to get a Pikmin extinction. This is possible, as shown here: youtube.com/watch?v=IieBje4CqMo
Unfortunately, there's no way to get the Pikmin into the void after using the throw clip. You have to press B to whistle the Pikmin to lure it to its death. So is day 1 even possible?
I spent a while thinking about a way around this. At first, I was thinking that I could lure the Pikmin using the dwarf bulborb. However, the dwarf bulborb was too far and I can't push it up the slope to the best of my knowledge.
I required some new discovery to make this challenge possible. And that's exactly what I found! I was searching for new throw clips, and I found one on top of the slope. Once I use the throw clip, the Pikmin falls directly into the void, no whistling required! Thus, this challenge is possible.
