In this challenge, all I can use is the control stick and the A-button. This means no whistling, no switching captains, no disbanding, no napsack, no sprays, no C-stick, no camera, and no pausing.

Day 6:
At last, today we have our first significantly challenging boss fight! My goal for today is to get a 95 purple army to help me take down the treacherous Empress Bulblax. Once I have my army, at 13:00, I begin to eliminate the Empress.
The reason that fighting the Empress Bulblax is so dangerous is simple. If she shakes your Pikmin and she starts rolling, there is no known way to save your Pikmin from getting crushed. There is no section of her body that shakes the Pikmin far enough away so that they don't attack her. Therefore, the only solution it seems is to kill her before she can attack even once.
Thus, I want to have as many Pikmin latch on to her at once as possible. To do this, I aim the Pikmin at a very precise spot on the ground such that when they target the Empress, they are blocked by her head section as the Pikmin target her center section. This way, once she eventually awakes, a large amount of Pikmin are already attacking her. Once she's awake, I start aiming directly at her body. I aim in such a way that I connect as many purple pounds as possible. After all of this, I can kill the Empress frames before she starts crushing all of my Pikmin.

The Empress can delay shaking off your Pikmin if you have good timing. Since I couldn't predict when the Pikmin would latch on to her, I had to rely on luck for her to delay shaking my Pikmin.
Overall, this took me about 30 attempts.
For the rest of the day, I grow reds and flower all of my Pikmin. I also get a "bad end of day" cutscene from killing both of my captains for the first time. This is the only way I can end the day quickly. It's also important that I put all of my Pikmin away, even if they're in base, they'll disappear (but not die). I may do a video on that eventually.
