Now, we are able to skip the cutscene of Pikmin running to Olimar at the start of the game. First, we do Cutscene Timer Storage.

By carefully, I mean that we can't let the Pikmin get close to us, or the cutscene we're trying to skip will activate. However, we can luckily hold a Pikmin without activating it.
As a consequence of this, Olimar and Louie will not do any damage to enemies. Additionally, the cutscene can activate during some common cutscenes, such as ending the day, making it difficult to keep the cutscene from triggering.
Furthermore, if you enter a cave and a Pikmin gets too close to you, the cutscene is "triggered," but it doesn't ever play. By this, I mean that captains can deal damage afterward, and no cutscene plays if you let a Pikmin get close to you.
