The session aims to present the main characteristics of The European Health Data Space (EHDS), explaining the new rights and possibilities it will bring to the society and how it will allow overcoming some of the challenges that exist globally when accessing and sharing health data.

The panel will be formed by representatives of key stakeholders from different sectors including policy makers, regulatory agencies, international organizations, national authorities, healthcare providers, researchers who will discuss the impact of EHDS in their field and how they will benefit from it. They will also delve into the necessary changes and preparations that member states are undergoing to adapt to the EHDS, how it can reduce the fragmentation of healthcare systems, and how the governance, best practices and tools that will be put in place can be leveraged at the international level.
