🎗️ Today is World AIDS Day

At #WHS2025, Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of UNAIDS, delivered a powerful message:

Sustainable HIV/AIDS responses cannot rely on fragile overdependencies or parallel systems. They must be integrated into national health systems - orderly, cost-effective, and backed by predictable financing and truly shared global responsibility.

As the world unites under this year’s World AIDS Day theme, “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response,” the World Health Summit stands with global partners in strengthening cooperation, advancing rights-based approaches, and accelerating progress toward ending AIDS by 2030.
