Here's my audio reconstruction of the 1975-1983 PBS theme song of "The MacNeil/Lehrer Report". This is a corrected version (and hopefully the definitive version on YouTube) of the previous two mixes available on YouTube, which you can watch below for comparison:

Originally released on the 4th volume of the French VHS collection by AB/TF1 Video in 1994, later reissued in 1997.
Now... this is one of two especially unique episodes of series 2 (the other one being Waltz War or La guerre des valses), because as of this moment, no English version has been identified, especially given the currently available online sources of Thompson-episode broadcast dates in the UK.
In French, this episode is known as Le voyage imaginaire or Le voyage extraordinaire, but for now, Im unofficially (and temporarily) naming this episode, Imaginary Voyage.
Now, there have two episodes that did air among the other 98 series 2 episodes, one being Dylan the Sleepwalker and Dylan and the Guitar. At least the former appears to be a holdover of a series 1 episode filmed in color, while the latters footage has yet to be recovered. Its possible that those two early Dylan-related episodes were broadcast instead of this one and Waltz War, meaning they mightve not been adapted to English at all. On the other hand, several sources say that 441 episodes were adapted to English by Eric Thompson in the UK from 1965 to 1977, but as of this moment, only 424 have been identified from at least two sources, currently leaving the existence of 17 episodes mysteriously unconfirmed.
This is also one of at least four color episodes during series 2 (including this one) to feature Florences friends, Paul, Basil, and Rosalie (Coralie), who stopped appearing after the original black-and-white series, apart from the opening and closing sequences. The other color episodes they appeared in were Wine Making, Snowmans Scarf, and The Rain.
Curiously, the names of the two boys are switched in this episode, as well as in The Rain. Usually, Pio or Paul (not Basil) is the name of the boy in the blue jumpsuit who always quotes his dads sayings. Their names (Paul and Basil, or Pio and Basile) are also inconsistent in various episodes/seasons as well. For the black-and-white episodes, as well as Dougal and the Blue Cat and UK book adaptations of the English version, Paul (Pio) is supposed to be the one in blue, while Basil (Basile) is the one in yellow. For the four color episodes and merchandise, their French names are switched. For the CGI era, Basil no longer appears, with Paul being given Basils name in both English and French.
Curiously, a production photo from this episode was used for a photo gallery slideshow in the DVD bonus features of Dougal and the Blue Cat.

I meant to repost this sooner, but heres yet another Canadian broadcast of an unaltered original dub of a series 2 French episode with Florences voice left intact, along with the original music! :) Unfortunately, only the second half of this version was recovered...

Mostly translated from its comic book adaptation for the magazine series Le Journal de Pollux, along with the automatic French subtitles (albeit corrected for some sentences).
This is the AB Productions redub of the original French version, as originally released on the 1st volume of the French VHS collection by AB/TF1 Video in 1990, and again on the 1st tape of the 5-volume collection by Une Video in 1998 ;)
In the UK, this was originally broadcast on April 3, 1975.

Sorry for the delay, but heres another black-and-white episode translated! In the UK, this was broadcast on November 22, 1965, and is Ermintrudes second appearance, after her debut in the previous episode (Dougal and Florence Meet the Monster). This and 14 other episodes from the original black-and white season were included as part of a 1994 VHS release by Polygram, alongside Pollux et le Chat Bleu (Dougal and the Blue Cat).
