Pasadena / Casablanca Four Seasons (II) ceiling fan in white, shown with 27" Regency Countess blades. This is the second fan I grabbed from the 50% off sale at a Habitat I stopped at while on vacation. Arguably still paid too much, but I wanted it for the Pasadena label, and mostly to create another smol I could use to switch up my display perimeter. I also just generally like certain older Four Seasons IIs, particularly the smaller sizes, so this was a no-brainer for me. Originally 42", one of the blades is quite severely warped, and none of them are in particularly great-looking condition. Based on that, some light areas of rust, and the somewhat stiff/chattery state of the bearings, I think it was installed in a semi-moist environment. Maybe a bathroom or three season porch. I've got a few sets of these smol Regency blades in both white and oak, so I knew I could use them on this small-scale motor. I did adjust the speeds, and wish I could've gone a bit slower with low, but among the cap values I had on hand, the stiff bearings needed a little more kick to make sure it gets going. Eventually I can probably go in and replace them, but they're not problematic enough to warrant that yet. These days I will modify speeds occasionally, but I draw the line at re-pitching the arms because I don't want to be committed to that change. With that considered, it absolutely FLIES, and performance is pretty good regardless. Everything else cleaned up well, there's slight discoloration on the bottom of the switch housing from where I removed a small light fitter, but barely noticeable in the end. Also, I hope everyone appreciates the logo here. I spent FAR TOO LONG recreating the text components from scratch and making the whole thing look presentable. The rose could be better, but I was really pushing my limited abilities in this realm already and I was lucky to be able to use it at all due to the awful quality image I ripped it from. 😅
