Unspecified Caribbean Breeze-type 56" industrial ceiling fan in brown, shown using a generic 4 speed slide control. Mostly new in the original box, but the packaging has seen some better days. There is no particular branding; the box is just plain cardboard with minimal print, and is actually recycled from I think a propane heater if I remember right. Something like that. It's just turned inside-out and the original print from that products is inside the box. I bought this fan from @Marksfansandthings several years back. Unfortunately the original canopy was dry rotted and completely busted upon arrival. I tried to find a replacement for a while, then it just kind of sat and I didn't think about it for a long time. I never had much interest in showing it if I couldn't show it somewhat properly. If anybody's got a spare brown typical Caribbean Breeze canopy, I'm still looking and would love to get one. For now, this Commander lower canopy actually gives a pretty proper appearance, but the size and scale is just a bit too small. I had to modify the mounting system to even somewhat work with it, but it's usable. A 56" Caribbean Breeze-type metal blade fan has been on my want list since my VERY early years collecting ceiling fans. I was able to get some 36" models pretty early on which were also highly wanted, but 56" is very uncommon in the US market and a bigger ask. The light kit adaptability/nut makes this one even more unique in terms of the motor style, and while it is cool and normally I LOVE spinners with the nut, my ideal version would probably be nut-less. But obviously, would've been a fool to pass this one up. It's not really like the most impressive thing in any one category, but it moves pretty solid air for not being super extremely fast. It's just a really good straight metal blade fan, which is what I've always said about the 36" models as well. They're nothing over the top special, but they look different and cool, and perform really pretty well for what they are. They also always seem to have generally decent bearings if they've been in a normal environment, and don't often have too many balance issues. 48" is also on my want list, so I'll be on the lookout for that one next.
