Getting the music to play and messing with the lever just a tiny bit on the back of the clock to catch on the wheel was a hair pulling task. A also show a whistle box that would not whistle very loud and show what happened to the sound and got the louder sound back. All in all, I got the clock working they way it was intended to work.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
