I bought this clock with other clocks and parts. Got a really good deal on it all. After showing off my haul, I show how I took the clock apart to clean it up and shine the old gears the best they would shine and tell how the alarm would work for the people, back in the day.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
