...Thought I'd have  another bash  at the one armed fire plough to actually see if it could be a viable option in a survival situation. It would definitely be the easiest set to prepare especially one handed but you would be totally reliant on the right materials which would be very limiting.That being said you could get lucky a lot of tropical islands have sea hibiscus growing on the coast which would be ideal .

...So if you did get lucky & you got your materials your going to need some sort of wrist band to act as a lever point for your blade. I used my cordage bracelets but ideally something more padded would be better to stop things digging into your wrist. After that it's about getting in the right position, getting balanced & getting into that rhythm.
