This is my 2nd completed run with the new routing using Sasa Early. I did not upload the first one because it was bad. I'm mainly uploading this as a demonstration of the route before AGDQ submissions close. Ideally I would've gotten to submit a WR run, but I didn't have enough time these past couple weeks to really de-rust and grind out runs. This run actually was ahead at points, but various mistakes slowed things down a lot.
The biggest mistakes were probably Tobi Skip and Oki Skip, losing 1.5 and 2 minutes respectively. Beyond that, I lost a lot of time in various places just due to rusty play.
I'm going to make a post-commentary of this just for submissions, even though it's not ideal. Look forward to it tonight or tomorrow!

Ive spent the past few days de-rusting in preparation for SGDQ submissions, with the goal of breaking WR so I could have an up-to-date video to submit. This run definitely beat my expectations in that regard. I created a 2m lead pretty early by correcting mistakes and having good fights early-game, and pretty much held onto it for the rest of the run by playing consistently well.
I do still think this category has a fair way to go in terms of development. The past weekend has shown me that there are still new tricks and optimizations to be found, and this run still has several minutes of time-save left in it. Sum-of-best is 2:17:36 now, which makes me feel that a dedicated person really could break 2h 20m.
This run beats the previous wr by me (2h 28m 07s https://youtu.be/OHmuhVEitUY) by 1m 47s.
