This is a two-for-one as I'm showing off two versions of this game. But I am doing it because why the hell not. This is the sequel to Obakeidoro. This is Obakeidoro 2: Chase and Seek.
This game is a multiplayer game. There is an offline mode but it's mostly limited to you against CPUs. You play as one of two different groups: Humans and Monsters. Humans have to hide from the Monsters who are trying to capture them. But humans have the ability to stun monsters and release other humans from the cage that imprisons them. That's pretty much it. Completing games will net you coins that you can use to unlock new lamps for your humans to use. In addition, there are challenges that can unlock some titles, buffs and unlockable characters.
I show off both versions and if you want my advice, I recommend the Switch 2 version since it does offer Gameshare and Co-op both offline and online. Sadly I wish more people were online because playing with CPUs can be a bit taxing. But if you don't have the Switch 2 version, Switch 1 is fine.
As I said, this game is better played with friends. If you have a few friends with you, the game can be really fun. It's $20 ($25 for Switch 2) so what can go wrong?
