Luminous Avenger iX 2 | Part 9: Passage to Top Floor
Kohaku has been kidnapped by Ypsilon. So now we got to go after him.
We now reach the Passage to the Top Floor. This right here is just a warm up. A warm up for what's yet to come at the end. Why? Because we're fighting against familiar foes. Like with the last game, there are boss rematches. But they do things a bit differently here in this game. Very different.
At the end, we face off against Vespa and Autochrome. But this rematch is different as we take them both on at the same time. The two will attack together then will rotate and use their own attacks. You need to make sure to drain both of their health bars until they are at the end. Once they go below, then they will merge together and unleash their signature SP attack, Synchro-Onslaught (Connected Grandcross). They become invulnerable. Vespa forms cyclones on the edges and drops waves of her bombs while Autochrome fires Optic Barrier in patterns. Memorize the patterns and you can avoid the attacks. Afterwards, they split and the fight continues. Drain their HP enough, then go Colossal Maelstrom on them at the same time. They will then do one last attack, a kamikaze of sorts. They will charge into each other and create and explosion. Just get to the upper edge and you'll avoid it no problem.
That's it. Part 10 will have us fight against Ypsilon once again near the Entrance to the Top Floor.
