Request Playthrough | Part 23: Rescue the World Tree
Difficulty: Balanced (Normal)
We bore witness to seeing Bacchusmon die and the World Tree die with it. So now we got to change the future. For the sake of Gear Forest.
We reach Gear Forest Village and it's as lively as ever. They know about the future but they notice many of the Digimon falling asleep. Upon reaching Bacchusmon, even he's fallen asleep. Before long, everyone falls asleep. We then end up in a dream. With the help of Lotosmon, we find a way to reach him. Also take the opportunity to deal with some Virus digimon. Turns out he's been having nightmares due to his responsibilities.
Eventually we find the culprit responsible: a titan named Witchmon. Before the fight, make sure to have everyone equipped with Sleep Wall. This will help prevent your party from falling asleep. Not only that but she has a beef with us because we beat Lord Titamon. Witchmon is a data-type so bring some virus-types to bring the pain. When she gears up to unleash a strong attack, focus on the left hand. Once you do that then you'll prevent her from unleashing something nasty. Afterwards, she's no big.
Witchmon is beaten but her hateboner for Aegiomon grows. It's becoming a grudge at this point. We end up leaving and woken up. This time, Bacchusmon knows what has happened. He's decided that enough's enough. He's joining the fight to protect the forest. We head for the sanctuary. Sirenmon is struggling and the one responsible, TyrantKabuterimon is determined to fulfill his mission. So now we got to stop him.
TyrantKabuterimon is a Virus-type Mega level. Bringing Vaccine-types will help big time. There's just one thing you need to know. This guy can perform multiple actions per turn. As this happens, Bacchusmon owns up to his actions and apologizes to Sirenmon. Made worse is that his signature attack, Shine of Bee, is an AOE attack that can deal serious damage to your party. Not only that but Bacchusmon will change form and get some new power. This will help make things a lot better. He is tough if you haven't grinded up so if you are prepared, you'll be okay. Except when he uses Tyrant Shield & Bee Cyclone, that's when things get tougher.
After defeating TyrantKabuterimon, we are victorious. But it's not without cost. Sirenmon passes on, happy that she has helped her dear friend. Bacchusmon apologizes but Sirenmon apologizes instead. She rests, turning into a sapling. The future is changed and the Gear Forest is restored along with the World Tree. Everyone celebrates the next day and Aegiomon gains a new form.
