Request Playthrough | Part 15: Face Off in the Depths
Difficulty: Balanced (Normal)
We ow got work so this means we need to head into the depths itself.
With the help of Whamon, we're able to do that. It's also here we get more help from Submarimon. He's here to help guide us through fierce currents. That's going to help us avoid some threats. At the bottom, we cross paths with Sharkmon. Sharkmon isn't happy that he's siding with us. So we got to fight.
Sharkmon is a Virus-type Ultimate and he has a pair of Divermon who are Data. You need Virus and Vaccines. The Virus should be used to deal with the Divermon while the Vaccine take care of Sharkmon. This is how it should work since it will ensure that pain can be brought. The Divermon can be annoying as they can use taunt to unleash aggro. Meaning that you need to attack them and they can also boost stats too. That's what makes it annoying. Having attacks that can hit everyone is vital, especially when it charges up energy to deal major damage.
After dealing with Sharkmon, he orders his crew to retreat. Guess we send them the message. They return to Shellmon only to find that she was gone. As for the village, it's still in ruin and everyone is long gone. Despite our efforts, our victory felt hollow. Very hollow.
We return to Junomon with new information. Turns out that the Current flows outward in all directions from the World Tree in Gear Forest. Knowing that the Titans are after the Current, they'll likely go for Gear Forest. So that's going to be our next stop now.
We take care of another side quest where we team up with Omnimon to deal with Scorpiomon. Since it's Data, stick to using Virus-types. No biggie here.
