This is Ninja at Six Flags over Georgia, also know as the Head banger, the Headache Machine, the Vekoma Torture Coaster, etc. This coaster is known for being very rough so I recommend riding in the front row. I rode it once in the front and only came out with a very slight headache which went away within an hour. This coaster actually began it's life as Kamikaze at Dinosaur Beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, USA in 1989. The ride was then sold to Six Flags in 1992 and then moved to it's present location. It was built by Vekoma and is a Custom MK-1200 model with five inversions that include a butterfly, a reverse sidewinder, and a double corkscrew. It is 2,742 feet long, 122 feet high, has a top speed of 52 mph, and a total ride time of about one minute and twenty seconds. It should be noted that this coaster has inherited the Arrow Dynamics trains from the former Great American Scream Machine that used to be at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. The coaster operated as Ninja until 2015 when new trains were added with a soft vest restraint system and a new paint scheme with blue track. The coaster opened the 2016 season as Blue Hawk. Thanks to RCDB.com for all the information on this coaster.
