This is the Grand Carousel at King's Island north of Cincinnati, OH, USA. It is a PTC #79 and was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan & Co (PTC) and installed at Coney Island in Cincinnati in 1926. It operated there until the park moved to it's current location in 1971.There are 28 jumping horses, 20 Standing horses, and 2 Chariots, all of which are carved from wood. There is a 1926 WurliTzer 157 band organ that is not operating. There are 4 PTC signature horses that are marked with a shield with PTC lettering on the outer shoulder of the animal.
