This is the Flying Ace Aerial Chase that's located inside the Planet Snoopy section of Carowinds Park near Charlotte, NC. It's a Family Suspended Coaster 342m model from Vekoma and it opened here on March 22, 2003. It's actually classified as a Inverted coaster and not a suspended coaster and yes, there is a difference between the two. A suspended coaster cannot go upside down but it does have the ability to swing freely from side to side, a Inverted coaster can't do this. This ride has a total length of 1,122" 1', a height of 48" 7', a top speed of about 26mph and a total ride time of about 1 min 30 sec. This coaster initially opened with a Nickelodeon theme and the Rugrats Runaway Reptar name until 2009 when the themeing was changed to the Peanuts Gang and and opened as the Flying Ace Aerial Chase in 2010. It then changed to Kiddy Hawk in 2011 and operated under that name to this day.
