My first purchase from Refy! I got the lip blush in orchid and here are my thoughts:
Pros:
- Beautifully creamy texture, matte, blurring finish
- Gorgeous shade range with lots of “flushed” looking colors
Cons:
- A bit overpriced imo. It’s $24 and given the basic chapstick format, packaging, and the fact that the bullet came smushed, I feel like I would stomach an $18-$20 price point better
- the color orchid is MUCH peachier than it appears in the bullet so I won’t reach for it as much. If the color applied the way it looks in the bullet (a warm pinky berry) I would’ve been thrilled. Maybe I’ll try wine instead!
- While this blurs lip lines, it does emphasize any dry spots on your lips, like I showed in this reel. After filming this, I scrubbed my lips and that made an enormous difference so just prep your lips beforehand!
Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and think it’s a beautiful product, I just would have preferred a lipstick shape instead of a round bullet, since I have thinner lips. But I’m just being picky really 😊
