Ellis Brooklyn sent me their new perfume in Miami Nectar and it’s lovely!
Notes:
Pink Pineapple, Palm Leaves, Coconut Water
Wild Jasmine, Plumeria, Lily of the Valley
Tree Moss, Salted Woods, Sweet Amber Woods, Vanilla
At first, I get a burst of pineapple but that quickly fades into three distinct notes: coconut, florals, and a salty, woody accord.
Miami Nectar is described as a gourmand but I smell the florals just as much as I smell coconut and salted and amber woods, so it’s quite balanced! If you’re not a gourmand lover, don’t let that scare you off.
Longevity is on the lighter side but I don’t mind reapplying.
Overall, I’d say Miami Nectar is my second favorite perfume from Ellis Brooklyn. Nothing could ever beat my love of Sun Fruit, it’s my signature warm weather scent!
