Pleasantly surprised by the new Saie slip tint concealer! (They sent me shades 4 and 5 in pr.)
At first, I didn’t like the way it looked because it’s so thin and blendable that the coverage blended away too quickly and it settled/creased easily. Plus, shade 5 is also too warm for me.
But after I set the concealer with powder and did the rest of my makeup, I noticed that it started to become more “one with my skin.” The formula worked really well with powder to prevent it from sliding around too much, and I like that it has a satin natural finish, it’s not too dewy but not too matte. That’s why a wear test is important, the formula grew on me as I wore it.
I’d say if you like medium coverage and you want a concealer that is super blendable and thin, that you can use all over the face or as under-eye concealer - this is for you.
If you’re like me and you prefer a more full coverage concealer with a tackier/thicker formula, or you have cool pink undertones, then I’d pass.
Note: I swatched all of the fair and light shades at Sephora and every shade looked yellow :/ unfortunately this is a pretty standard experience for me with clean beauty brands. Justice for cool tones!
