State of Kait | *NEW* Tower 28 OneLiner in Paint My Number Try-On (review in description!) @StateofKait | Uploaded July 2024 | Updated October 2024, 38 minutes ago.
I bought one new shade of the @tower28beauty oneliner in paint my number and I LOVE it. Here’s a comparison with Work of Art, my longtime favorite.
If you haven’t tried the formula they are a classic pencil formula that’s half creamy, half grippy (but not in a waxy way.) They’re comfortable and easy to smudge, and they don’t set down the way, which I prefer.
If you want something super budge proof and transfer resistant, these are not for you. But if you’re like me and you prefer a more creamy lip liner that isn’t slippery, I think you’ll love these.
Paint my number is described as a muted mauve but I’d describe it as a muted rose. It’s much warmer than what “muted mauve” would suggest, but I really like it. It goes beautifully with clear gloss, or all of my plum/berry lip glosses.
Work of art is one of my most used liners because it’s a chameleon. I swear it changes color! Sometimes it looks like a pinky taupe, which is how they describe it, and other times it looks like a warm beige-brown. It’s perfect for my nude lipsticks but it really seems to go with any gloss I put on top.
Overall, I adore this formula and I really hope Tower 28 continues to launch more shades!
