Recently I was invited to visit the workshop of a Brisbane based entrepreneur and maker named Sean McGrade. Sean is developing a system which allows owners of manual milling machines to upgrade to CNC operation without having to post G-code. The system operates from a tablet, wirelessly and is capable of high precision, even on worn machines without ball screws. In this introductory video we get to take a look around Sean's workshop, see some sample parts made with the system and watch a complex part being made.

Although initially called Whatbox, that was just a working title. The name of the system at release will be called Maharn.
It's important to note that this is not a paid promotion. I have and interest in CNC machining and old Bridgeport milling machines so I accepted Sean's offer to take a look around his workshop and document what I saw and how I felt about the system he is developing.
There will be follow up videos at a later date.
