Having a working clock in the workshop is a good way of ensuring marital harmony, especially if deadlines are issued for activities that occur outside the workshop walls. This is my attempt to make a large, clearly visible, lathe related and decorative clock.

Chemically etching aluminium using Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda or Lye)
Clear powder coating
Shortening the minute hand
Final assembly
