For our penultimate championship event, it's a 6 lap invitational one-make race at Island Outskirts in the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR against 7 others. This is one of the many crazy homologation specials created during the mid to late 1990s for the FIA GT World Championship, cars that also went on to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well. Winning this event will not only lock in your spot for the 30th and final championship event, but also unlock Tropical Circuit for challenge mode as well. Unfortunately the rubberbanding AI's for this event has never been more egregious. So you will have to drive well, and yet at the same time be very agressive with trying to prevent the AI's from passing as I did here. Because otherwise they'll probably unfairly blow by you at like 300 MPH. Pay just as much attention to your mirror as you do at the road in front of you. Whether you like it or not, the whole race will be a 200 MPH dogfight. Despite your best efforts, it might take you multiple attempts at this one.
