As of a couple days ago, I've now been making these for 3 years now. Almost as long as the game's been out for. And in that time this series has come a long way, much farther than I ever initially thought. I may not do these as often as I did in the past anymore, with this only being my second one of the year thus far, but to be honest that's probably a good thing since it doesn't become repetitive this way. With our 3 year anniversary now behind us, I couldn't help but reflect back to how much different it was when I started this. Both the game in general, and the way I went about doing these. Since then I've now done a combined 24 hours of racing at this track. With the past in mind, for episode 49 of our half-hour speed wars I wanted to sort of do a throwback to the one that started it all. Doing the race at the crack of dawn and in my Ford GT, the car I used in my first race. Which is now a lot faster since the early days, especially here recently after an engine swap was added for it in the last content update. I’ve gotten plenty better at making setups on here over those 3 years to both make them even faster, while also making them much more capable of handling such high speeds. Update 1.59 released earlier today adding 10 more engine swaps, 6 of those cars being featured here, along with all 4 new cars added. The 2021 Honda CR-V Black Edition, 2012 Suzuki Carry KC, 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast, and the 2001 C5 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Now finally having a Corvette from every generation in the game. 4 more cars with new engine swaps from the last content update in 1.57 are featured here, again including mine. Along with 2 of the 3 cars added then, the 2001 Renault Kangoo, and the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage. Also bought 2 more cars already in the game, the 2016 Audi R18, and the Gr.1 Hyundai N 2025 VGT. Along with significant changes to 2 other cars to complete the lineup.
