Back in the pre-Recycla days, you could find these beasts in nearly every area of the Westside with heavy apartment building concentration. It was always incredibly easy to find these trucks, as a simple bike ride through a neighborhood of parallel streets on a weekday morning would yield a variety of trucks from various haulers. Multi Family recycle in West LA, Mid City, all the way to the beach communities was almost exclusively collected by NASA, who ran several of these Formula 5000s, as well as 2 WhiteGMC EZPack Goliaths that were no less interesting and fun to watch.
