Another video of one of A&B's classic refuse trucks, which unfortunately are no longer servicing their largest client, the Park La Brea Apartment complex. Because of that, they have been forced out of business entirely - as they don't offer roll off service or dumpster rental. This truck, a 1992 Peterbilt, was originally thought to be gone after George filmed it a few years back. After my first trip to park La Brea, I found it! As many of you know A&B was featured in "Garbage Day" a 1994 children's video, where this chassis made a brief appearance (it was on a Stagg back then, later put on a 1998 Peterbilt 320).
If you are a fan of classic refuse trucks like I am, you will most certainly appreciate everything this truck has to offer despite its slower arm cycle. A low growl, screaming hydraulic whine, and in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint. Please enjoy my footage of this truck, and look out for more videos of A&B from me in the future.
