My sister wanted to plan a surprise trip for me and it ended up being a Viking River Cruise! We had always wanted to try a river cruise, and this one was fantastic. The ship, Viking Idun, was comfortable and so light and airy and the crew was amazing. We did the Rhine Getaway which started in Amsterdam and had stops in -
Kinderdijk, The Netherlands
Cologne, Germany
Koblenz, Germany
Scenic Castle Sailing in the Middle Rhine
Rudesheim, Germany
Speyer, Germany
Strasbourg, France
Breisach, Germany for the Black Forest
and ended in Basel, Switzerland

We also visited Colmar, France on an optional excursion.
