The Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge, Northern Ireland is a short coach ride away from Belfast and is amazing! We caught a coach to the studio tour in Belfast (one is available from Dublin too) and it was quicker and more convenient than a bus. You can include it in your ticket for an addition price, but it is only available on certain days.
The tour is fantastic and has everything from props, costumes, sets - actual sets where Game of Thrones was filmed. One set was even in the same place where the actors filmed! The sets and props are one-of-kind and genuine from Game of Thrones filming. The staff at the studio tour are incredibly helpful and knowledgable and it's obvious they love their jobs. It is a must-do for Game of Thrones fans but even non-fans will find it interesting. So much work goes into a show like this. I can't recommend it highly enough! I was amazed at every turn and with every detail!
You can find yourself walking amongst statues in the crypts of Winterfell or standing beside white walkers. You can see the set where Jon Snow died and was brought back to life and where Littlefinger met his demise. There are life-like props of Jamie and Cersei Lannister and huge dragon skulls. There are interactive areas where you can make yourself a character or put your face in the hall of faces It culminates in the Iron Throne room.
