We spent two fantastic days touring the otherworldly Cappadocia, Turkey or Kapadokia Turkiye. What an incredible, one-of-a-kind place. We visited and underground city, an open-air museum full of rock-strewn churches, fairy chimneys, saw valleys of rocks that have been shaped by water and wind to look like animals and saw the area from on high in a sunrise hot air balloon flight. We stayed in a cave hotel, a first for me, and topped off the visit with carpet and pottery demonstrations and a meal with a folkloric show. What an unforgettable two days!
